5 Most Awesome Things About the Season 3 Premiere of HEROES

Sure, maybe that last Heroes post was a tad harsh. So, since we’re a fair bunch around these parts, we figured we might as well do the series some justice and highlight some of the show’s high points, besides the obvious sexiness of the female cast members.

1. Heroes - Now With More Balls. This series definitely started off edgier than the previous two. There’s blood, brains, cheerleader scalps, and scorching old ladies, and not to mention Suresh getting it on with Maya. And did Claire’s mom almost say rape? I’m liking this darker territory that the series seems to be pointing towards, let’s just hope they keep it up.
2. Finally seeing what Sylar does with people’s brains. And we all just thought he ate ‘em. Apparently he just studies them to see what makes his victims’ powers work. And how fucking awesome was the dialogue between Sylar and Claire when he had her skull ripped open and her brains spread out? Claire: Are you gonna’ eat my brains? Sylar: No, Claire. That would be disgusting. Epic.
3. Hiro’s vision of the future. Ando shooting red energy from his hands and killing Hiro? You’ve reeled me in. I’m hoping there’s more back-and-forth with timelines in this series, and between Hiro and Peter, I don’t see why not.
4. Making Maya hot. I know I said I wouldn’t include the hotness of the female cast, but there’s something different about Maya that makes my pee-pee feel nice. Maybe it’s because her boobs were hanging all over the place and her hair was brushed and she wasn’t crying all the damned time. Yeah, I’d totally hit it.
5. The villains. I didn’t think the villains we’re going to be as badass as they turned out to be, but the last few minutes of the show totally proved me wrong. THEY WERE SETTING PEOPLE ON FIRE!!! It’s also cool that Peter’s mind is trapped in the body of one of the villains. I’m pumped to see how that all plays out. There’d better be bloodshed and battle royales of epic proportions ahead in series 3. I, for one, can’t wait.
