Drunk E-mail Protection From Gmail
It’s a Saturday night. Earlier this week your girlfriend (or boyfriend) dumped you and broke your heart. The solution? Get completely trashed to numb the pain. Unfortunately, this also brings consequences, and I’m not talking about the massive “just kill me” hangover you’ll have in the morning when you wake up in a pool of your own piss and vomit. I’m talking the bad decisions you make, like e-mailing your ex with typo’d insults and death threats you’ll most likely forget and regret later when checking your sent mail.
Gmail to the rescue. Google developer Jon Perlow has come up with a solution during his 20% personal project time given to all Google employees. By turning on his Gmail Goggles add-on function, you are asked five math problems you must solve in a certain amount of time. This is totally customizable with difficulty level as well as scheduled times when this will occur.
So fear not, you drunk, broken-hearted bastard. Insulting her won’t help, just go pass out on the kitchen counter.
