Mickey Mouse Arrested In California

This is pretty old news, happening August 14, but the pictures alone are post-worthy. Costumed staff at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA, protested wages and conditions. Thirty-two “characters” were taken into custody after an hour-long march, including Mickey, Cinderella, and Peter Pan.

The contracts of 2,300 staff members at three Disney-owned hotels expired in February. The workers’ union states that the new proposal makes healthcare unaffordable and creates an unfair wage system.

I feel bad for the kids who had to witness their favorite cartoons getting arrested. Check out the awesome pictures captured below.
