Looks like Sony snatched up the North American rights for the live-action Blood: The Last Vampire flick. In case you haven’t seen the original anime film, it’s about a half-vampire chick in a schoolgirl outfit killing things with a sword. The anime was amazing and it looks like they’re expanding on the Blood universe with this new movie because it looks nothing like the anime at all.
Hopefully we see a theater release, especially since the film is spoken in english. It’d be a shame to see such a movie go straight to DVD without the proper attention it deserves.
