There’s been a shit-ton of announcements since E3 kicked off on Monday and there’s a good chance that you may have missed some of the good stuff. Here’s a wrap-up of some of the best news from Microsoft.

Splinter Cell: Conviction
We’ve known about this game for a while now, but after seeing a newer, meaner Sam Fisher, we’re a little bit more than stoked. The game also has an awesomely clever way of showing mission objectives and flashbacks projected onto walls. Kind of reminds me of Natural Born Killers, only I don’t feel like I’m on drugs after watching it.
Halo: ODST
Okay, we know what you’re thinking: “Another Halo?,” but this is so much more. You’re not playing as the mega-tough Master Chief, so you’ve gotta’ choose your battles wisely this time around. There’s also a promising story element that switches timelines and main characters. Pulp Fiction, anyone? Oh yeah, and this is set in an open-world environment, GTA-style.
Crackdown 2
The first Crackdown was amazing good fun. Despite the fact that this sequel isn’t being developed by the same team as the original, it still looks freaking awesome. Crackdown 2 spices things up by throwing monsters into the mix. Fuck yes.
Metal Gear Solid Rising
So, it’s not MGS4, no biggie. So, it doesn’t start Snake. So what? I think I speak for the rest of the Microsoft gaming community when I say I can’t wait to play as Raiden and use my fresh lightning bolt action.
Project Natal
When I was a kid playing my SNES, this what what I dreamt that the future of gaming would be. Although I’m a bit skeptical as far as the whole skan-your-skateboard-from-across-the-room and try-on-a-dress technology displayed in the trailer, but it’s still some impressive stuff.
So what did you think was the best announcement to come from Microsoft this E3? Let us know in the comments.
