Diego Stocco is a sound artist who makes music out of the weirdest, most random shit you can think of. He’s done music and sound design for movies like Crank, Into The Blue, the Showtime series The Tudors, and even the game Far Cry Instincts.
Hit the jump for a video of Music from a Tree, where he makes –you guessed it– music out of a tree. It actually sounds a lot better than you’d expect and it’ll probably be stuck in your head for the rest of the day.
I’ve also embedded the video of Diego’s Music from Sand which, unlike Music from a Tree, uses a synthesizer, but is still cool nonetheless.
