Not even gonna' lie, back when Albotas first started out, there were talks of having some sort of A Little Bit On The Awesome Con featuring vinyl toys, comics, games and whatnot. Maybe one day hahah.

p.s. those chicks were BANGIN!!!!! hahha.

I was going to mod my PC and make it the power button, but I got distracted by just playing with it by itself so much. There is something ultimately soothing about it, even if it drove others around me mad.

I think one of the biggest problems with gaming expos is that they seem to be a dime a dozen these days. Too many too close together (both time and distance wise) kinda kills the excitement of going to one.
It's either that or the fact that there isn't much worth going to an expo for, in terms of checking out new games (we has teh intertoobz for that). The only reason I would go to one is for keynote speeches or awesome shit to buy (got a plush green koopa shell last year which works well when you need something to throw at someone pissing you off).

Oh, and the hawt cosplay chicks.

Yeah it sucks. All it really needed was maybe 15 or so more vendors and a few more larger booths like Nintendo's setup. I attended the VGXPO a few years ago - it was the year Rock Band came out - and there was SO MUCH!!! There was a screening of Moral Kombat, that movie about violence in video games. Jack Thompson had a debate with Tim Schafer (I THINK it was Tim Schafer). 1up.com had a booth set up where they were giving away all kinds of prizes on the last day. Rock Band had a tour bus where you could walk in and play Rock band like 2 months before it came out, and there was even a stage where people were Rock Banding for a crowd!

There was also a HUUUUUGE AlienWare LAN setup and the general scope of the whole con was just way huge. It's a shame that it was so much smaller this year.

As for this button you speak of, it sounds freaking amazing and I'm totally googling it so I can get one.

LOL @ the kid in the pic at the top of the article, rocking out with a power stance while playing Mario & Luigi. It's such a shame that a lot of these expos bite the dust because not enough people show up.
Can't wait for eGames expo here in Melbourne at the end of the month. I bought an arcade 1P button there last year just to click for the noise

Brownkidd, consider me jealous, haha. I had work this weekend and wasn't able to make it. That Linux based handheld looks incredible! Once I get my impending PS3 purchase out of the way I'll be sure to consider this little gem. Keep up the awesome work!
