You might have noticed that I haven’t really been posting designer toys on the site as much. This is for two main reasons: 1.) the designer toy industry SUCKS at sending out press releases beyond your typical newsletter and 2.) I haven’t really seen any new toys that were awesome enough to mention.
But check THIS guy out:
This little guy drops tomorrow at 12p noon CDT at the Playge Store.
Based on the traditional Japanese Meneki Neko (Lucky Cat/Fortune Cat), the 9″ vinyl MISFORTUNE CAT from Playge is limited to just 300 pieces worldwide and comes with a velvet bag. The only bummer is that he costs a whopping $85!
Anyone else think designer toy prices just aren’t justified anymore?
