Water Surface Interface Turns Your Bathtub Into A Touchscreen Computer
Using a PC, projector, and a Microsoft Kinect, you can have a bathtub that would make even Tony Stark a bit jealous.
Behold, the AquaTop. No need to worry about dropping your electronic portable devices in the water during bath time when your bathtub can do pretty much anything you can do on your laptop. You can play touchscreen games by either poking at the waters surface from above, or poking up from underneath.
The PC attached to the system also allows you to use the surface of your bath water as a desktop computer. You can scoop up a piece of media that is projected on the water and drop it onto a media player, which will start the media playing. Projected images can be removed from the “screen” by making waves in the water that wash them away, or by simply reaching three fingers up from beneath the water and “pulling” the images under.
But can you play League of Legends on it? And has anyone figured out crazy porn-related stuff to do with this thing yet? If not, it’s really only a matter of time.
