Back in February I was able to attend my second Indiecade East festival. I couldn’t make it last year, so I was anxious to see how the event had grown since its inception in 2013. While the inaugural Indiecade East has promise, it left a bit to be desired. This year, instead of a small room with a paltry sample of the same games all weekend, the room expanded into a rotating show-and-tell with games rotating every two hours! Sony and Nintendo even showed their support for independent video game developers by hosting panels with Q & A and a chance for devs to offer feedback and gain insight on how to get their games in front of a wider audience.

While I was only able to attend one of the three days, I hope the video above does a decent job at capturing the energy that Indiecade brought to the east coast. Huge thanks to Jamey C. Shafer,  Quadratron Games, Robit Games, and Golden Ruby Games for chatting with me and letting me feature their games in this video!
