Toronto-based Sarah Joncas primarily works in acrylic and oil. Her work combines mesmerizing beauty with pop surrealism. Wispy hair, emotive vixens,  nature, and symbolism all combine in her work to create dreamy scenes that feel like lullabies.

This style of work has been gaining popularity through recent years stretching back to when the likes of Tara McPhersonCamilla D’Errico, and Fafi first started making waves in the scene.

Welcome to the Feminist Pop Surrealist Movement.

Joncas’s work has been showcased at Haven Gallery in Long Island, NY, LA’s Thinkspace and she recently did an interview with Beautiful Bizarre which you can read HERE.
