When starting out a blog, it’s usually best to focus on one main niche. That’s what the “experts” say, anyway. I say eff that noise! The Albotas niche spans the entire gamut of geek culture with a little bit of artsy fartsy stuff thrown into the mix.

Albotas is about covering all aspects of nerdiness in hopes of turning people onto new forms of awesomeness that they may have never heard of. For example, someone may stop by for a bit of gaming news, only to come across a post about designer toys. Suddenly, that person who’s never heard of designer toys is sucked into the whole toy culture. Or maybe an otaku stops by for the latest bit of anime news when they see an article about a new indie game that piques their interest.
