Siq tat, bro. Is that a Samus tattoo I see above it?

Sick stencil featuring the ED-209 from RoboCop. Easily one of the most obscure geeky references I’ve seen in graffiti. And that little kid should totally know better than to eff with the Enforcement Droid Series 209, or else he might end up like this guy: Obviously re-cut for comedic effect, but it’s still a crazy scene. Misaka Mikoto is a character from the anime series To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, which I’ve never actually heard of before, but from the design of this character, it seems like something I’d want to check out. You can currently pre-order her from our friends over at Otacute and she’ll ship at the end of July. The only bummer is the price: $57.50 which is a little much when compared to the $25-$35 Figmas that have been released this year. And here’s the opening credits of To Aru Kagaku no Railgun. Not quite sure what to make of it. Anyone know if it’s any good?
When I was a kid, I did my fair share backseat gaming, but this chick takes it to a whole new level. [Via Gamer Chicks]
Alter produced this crazy gorgeous 1/8 scale PVC statue of Momohime from the Wii game Muramasa: The Demon Blade that can easily be appreciated by hardcore fans of the game and people who’ve never even heard of it. It can also be set up into one of two different poses: sword being drawn, or sword already drawn going in for the kill. This fig is set to drop at the end of July for $81.50. Pre-order yours from Otacute, who also happen to be an Albotas sponsor and the raddest import toy store around. [Via Alafista]
Kordian Lewandowski turns blends religious Renaissance art and geek culture with his polystyrene foam block carving titled Game Over, based on the famous La Pietá by Michelangelo.
Fun fact: Michelangelo was only 24 years old when he sculpted La Pietá. Suddenly, my life seems all the more worthless.
I’ve always wondered what steps one takes when carving something out of a block of stone or marble or, in this case, polystyrene. Now I know.
It’s so huge. Also, that’s what she said. [Via Kotaku]
Graffiti featuring standalone gaming icons is cool and all, but I especially love when they’re mixed in with letterstyles. This awesomeness is magnified when you add light painting to the mix, as can be seen by this Pikachu pic uploaded by Charles Massengill.
Wiimote, Linux shirt, and Nintendo panties. Oh yeah, and there’s a chick somewhere in the picture too. [Via Geekologie]
Josh “f+” Pearce made this awesome set of 20 custom 3″ Dunnys that he’s selling blindboxed for a whopping $85 apiece. While the price is pretty huge considering a manufactured Dunny retails for around $8, these things look pretty freaking amazing. If you want one of these bad boys for your collection, you can pick one up right here. As an added bonus, anyone who snags one within the next 30 days has the chance to score one of Josh’s 8″ custom Codexian figures for free. Check out more pics over on f+’s blog. I obviously need to get on the ball and make more customs. There’s some obvious ducats to be made.
And one more thing… my head is made of cheese and it’s delicious. Make your own by following these instructions. [Via Boing Boing]
Been playing the shit outta’ the new Pokémon SoulSilver. I had my doubts about the Pokéwalker, but it’s actually pretty fresh even though it’s pretty much a straight rip of the Chao Garden from Sonic Adventure for the Dreamcast. Keep right on hatin’. [Via Tiny Cartridge] |
