Import gaming site Play-Asia has sponsored DS-10 Dominator on a tour through Hong Kong and Japan, and they currently have his upcoming album — which drops August — available for pre-order for $9.99.

It’s pretty crazy to see the chiptune exploding like it is right now. And with easily accessible tools like LSDJ, FamiTracker, and the Korg DS-10 Plus, it’s easy to see why. Now, it’s easier than ever for anyone to make their own bleepy-bloopy digital tunes and not only does it have mega geeky nostalgia factor, but a lot of it is actually really good!
