Each month, Kaiyodo puts out a new super-articulated toy for its Yamaguchi series, usually based on a giant robot. This month, they released two said robots.
One is based on the Rebuild of Evangelion series of movies and is the least Eva-ish of all the re-imagined Angel killers. Also released was the Second Runner edition of Jehuty from Zone of the Enders. This Jehuty comes with some different accessories and a new paint job to differentiate it from the Jehuty that came out earlier this year.
The last figure of the year will be Anubis, also from the Zone of the Enders series. Having both Anubis and Jehuty posed in mid-battle would be pretty awesome. If you haven’t played Zone of the Enders, do it now. The first game is pretty cool and the second one is one of the best PS2 games, period. On second thought, maybe don’t do it now since an HD collection of the series will be out next year.
Announced this month and coming out in January is Alucard from Hellsing. This figure is guaranteed to have the most detailed tailcoats of any Revoltech, what with being ridiculously long and having four joints. The figure includes two guns, extra sunglasses and hands, hat, blood spray, and three faces.
Check back on the 15th of each month for Albotas’ monthly Revoltech report (unless I’m slightly late like this month. Whatever. Want to fight about it?).
