Each month, Kaiyodo puts out a new super-articulated toy for its Yamaguchi series, usually based on a giant robot. This month’s toy isn’t a robot, but he’s got a robot hand. It’s Edward from Full Metal Alchemist. Next month, another FMA character will be released, and the following month, a new Eva will be up for sale. Hit the link for more pics and info on each.

This month, you can pick up the protagonist of Full Metal Alchemist, Edward. I’m not going to pretend I know anything about him because I’ve never seen the show. But that coat is fancy and super-posable. The figure comes with three interchangeable faces and several neat-o plasma attachments.

Next month sees the release of Alphonse Elrich, also from Full Metal Alchemist. I don’t know anything about him, but he looks like he could beat me up and then impale me upon his broad and spiky shoulder. Both of the figures eyes can move independently. I think that might be a first for a Revoltech figure. The light-up base is a nice touch, too.

We’ll get back to the giant robot theme in May, when the Mass Production Eva Unit from the Rebuild of Evangelion series is released. This one has an enormous wingspan, so clear off some shelf space. It also comes with a few accessories like the Spear of Longinus. One cool thing about this figure is that some of the interchangeable parts are battle-scarred.
