DAILY GRAFFITI: THE SICKEST ‘AKIRA’ GRAFFITI EVER [GALLERY]

Let us celebrate this crowning achievement in storytelling and animation by admiring a bunch of walls that some insanely talented jerks vandalized.

Katsuhiro Otomo’s Akira is masterpiece – a legendary staple of pure creativity and artistic genius. Its reach has spread beyond the niche fandom of nerd culture and made its way into the mainstream. This highly influential film (and the manga that it was based on) has inspired many of the most well-known writers, directors, musicians, and artists of our time. Akira’s presence can be felt everywhere from car commercials to rap videos and even the latest blockbuster movies. While the film version was released in the late 80’s, it remains a cinematic spectacle the likes of which have never been seen even decades later.
