If you’re an avid reader of nonfiction work, Bloomsbury Publishing’s 33⅓ (Thirty-Three and a Third) book series is an absolute essential read. The 33⅓ series tackles the importance of one musical album per book, usually written by one author. There’s over 100 books with the 33⅓ name attached to them, like In Utero by NirvanaMy Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy by Kanye West, and I Get Wet by Andrew W.K. to name a few.

Pleasant news for those who love these short books: Bloomsbury just announced three more entries to the series for this May. In just a few months, the publisher will release Evie Nagy’s writing on Devo’s Freedom of Choice, Michael Stewart Foley on Dead Kennedys’ Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables (a personal favorite album of mine), and an interesting turn of direction, Andrew Schartmann on Koji Kondo’s Super Mario Brothers Soundtrack.

All of these books drop May 21. Check out the covers below and make sure to pre-order them via the Amazon links up top.
