Cool Kids Never Die is a sweet looking pop culture inspired art show taking place in New Mexico on February 20th and from the looks of the art below, this event will be nothing short of awesome.

It looks like he took models from the Tony Hawk games and rendered them with the appropriate attire to fit their themes. Awesome work, indeed.

There’s a pretty awesome Instructable posted by Motadacruz showing how to make this rad Domo-kun nightlight for kids using some stuff he had around the house. Looks like a fun little project to take on during a lazy weekend, so I might give this a shot.

I think the message behind this piece is that we’re all invaders. Poignant, creative, and a great use of the street as a canvas. A little bit of overspray, but it’s all part of the charm, I think. A++

Also, is anyone else’s mind so conditioned by pop culture and video games that they think of a chainsaw as a weapon instead of a tool, or is it just me?

Whenever I look for something to feature on Daily Graffiti, I usually just browse places like Flickr or DeviantArt and type in something along the lines of “[insert geeky pop cultural reference here] graffiti” and hope something awesome pops up. Whenever I look for something to feature on Daily Graffiti, I usually just browse places like Flickr or DeviantArt and type in something along the lines of “[insert geeky pop cultural reference here] graffiti” and hope something awesome pops up. It’s always a crapshoot and you’d be surprised to know how much awesome stuff there isn’t graffiti of, but I’ve just always assumed  I wasn’t looking hard enough or maybe no one uploaded the pics yet. Other times I’m surprised when I search for something completely random like Danger Mouse or, in this case, the Angry Beavers, and actually stumble across some pretty fresh results.

It’s because of this that I’m enacting an official Albotas.com Rule #34 of sorts:
