Spotted this handmade Liono plushie over on Etsy. It was made by the awesomely-named Love and a Sandwich and I think you’ll agree that it’s pretty freaking badass.
This adorable papercraft diorama was made by the king of adorable papercraft dioramas, Tubbypaws. You can download it here for your papercrafting pleasure.
When the inevitable zombie apocalypse arrives and shakes humanity down to it’s core, this is the only weapon I’d feel safe defending myself and my loved ones with.
Also, is anyone else’s mind so conditioned by pop culture and video games that they think of a chainsaw as a weapon instead of a tool, or is it just me?

Whenever I look for something to feature on Daily Graffiti, I usually just browse places like Flickr or DeviantArt and type in something along the lines of “[insert geeky pop cultural reference here] graffiti” and hope something awesome pops up. It’s always a crapshoot and you’d be surprised to know how much awesome stuff there isn’t graffiti of, but I’ve just always assumed I wasn’t looking hard enough or maybe no one uploaded the pics yet. Other times I’m surprised when I search for something completely random like Danger Mouse or, in this case, the Angry Beavers, and actually stumble across some pretty fresh results.
It’s because of this that I’m enacting an official Albotas.com Rule #34 of sorts:
Rotobox Vinyl Anatomica recently held their custom Guntmetall Celsius custom show and contest this past Saturday, January 30th and they were kind enough to send over some pics from the event.
These are the contest entries which are all freaking insane. I have no idea how I’d ever pick winners from this talented bunch. You can see the winners and more pics of the entries here.
This post is a collection of images from chiptune file sharing site 8bitcollective.com. They were designed by a lineup of talented artists and chiptuners using all kinds of different materials and techniques, but they all have something in common: they’re all totally badass and a little bit on the awesome side.
This photograph was taken by the talented (and cute!) Canadian photographer Salty The Pirate from DeviantArt. The actual graffiti itself isn’t really mindblowing, but I love the colors of the picture and how dirty the sign is. This piece is also available as a print, which I’ll probably wind up buying at some point.

These Lego-ized versions of characters from Hayao Miyazaki’s classic My Neighbor Totoro are part of Iain Heath’s (aka Ochre Jelly) entry to BrikCon 2010 which takes place from September 30th – October 3rd of this year in Seattle, WA.
The theme of this year’s BrikCon is “Big in Japan” and different Lego artists will be showing off their unique pieces that celebrate Japanese culture. Ochre Jelly’s theme is “Miyazakitopia” and will pay homage to the great Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki. You can check out a concept sketch of Miyazakitopia here.
Can’t wait to see the whole thing when it’s completed!
