Of all the things that a giant Optimus Prime would inspire me to do, “recycle” isn’t one of them. “Run the fuck away” is one thought that springs to mind. “Wet myself” is another.
But no, this giant Optimus in the Green Dream Park in Beijing, China has been constructed from six tons of car and truck spare parts and junk, and he stands at a probably-quite realistic 40 feet tall. He also looks really quite a lot like movie-era Optimus Prime, so well done China. Well done.
But really…recycling?
