This awesomely random mural featuring Animal Crossing, Yoda, and Batman among other things was sent in by loyal Albotian, Don Schwabs aka the dude who did the Scribblenauts Munny.

While looking for a toy store in a part of town I rarely visit, I got lost and turned down a back lane to double back the way I came. I got an awesome surprise when I spotted this mural on the back of a bicycle shop of all places. I love Animal Crossing, so I ended up coming back with my camera to take a couple of pics and merge into the one mural.

Thanks a bunch, dude! You should get lost more often so you can find more awesome stuff!

Club Nintendo Gold & Platinum Awards Announced!

Nintendo has finally revealed their awards for Club Nintendo members who reached Gold or Platinum status before June 30th, 2009. In order to get these free gifts you MUST log in to your Club Nintendo account and confirm your mailing address BEFORE August 11, 2009.

Platinum members can choose between a Mario hat or the much-more-intriguing Doc Louis’s Punch-Out!!, a downloadable mini version of Punch-Out!! that pits Little Mac against his trainer.

Gold members get an original Nintendo calendar, but not the one pictured, that’s from last year’s Club Nintendo giveaway in Japan. Calendars are cool, right?

As a Platinum member, I’m a bit torn between what to choose. I mean, that Mario hat’s pretty badass, but I could probably find one on Ebay or something. That Punch-Out!! game looks kinda’ rad, but it’s probably just one round against Doc which is kinda’ lame.
