A pocket sized digital graffiti blackbook designed for recording more than just ink.
DustTag is an iPhone application designed for graffiti writers that visualizes the motion involved in the creation of a tag. Motion data is recorded, analyzed and archived in a free and open database, 000000book.com, where writers can share 3-D animated representations of their hand styles. All tags created in DustTag are saved as Graffiti Markup Language (GML) files, a new digital standard used by other popular graffiti applications such as Laser Tag and EyeWriter. DustTag is fully compatible with the Graffiti Analysis 2.0 software suite, which is available online for free at graffitianalysis.com and can be used to playback DustTag creations from the iPhone on your OSX, Windows or Linux desktop systems.
DustTag was created by artist and Graffiti Research Lab co-founder Evan Roth, and artist and openFrameworks guru Chris Sugrue. Graffiti Analysis is an open source initiative built in openFrameworks and is available online for free at graffitianalysis.com
Features:
* Line thickness based on speed.
* Tags rendered in 3-D based on time.
* Rotating the phone rotates the tag in 3-D.
* Multi-touch functionality for navigating 3-D environment.
* All tags can be uploaded to 000000book.com for free download.
* All DustTags can be played back in OSX, Windows and Linux desktop systems.
* Ability to tag graffiti data with keywords.
* Single line as well as multi-line drawing modes.
* Full screen animated 3-D playback of graffiti tag sequences.
The infamous “upskirt” has become somewhat of a cultural phenomenon in Japan, so it’s only natural that those silly azns would eventually come out with Puff!, an iPhone app that lets you see up women’s skirts by flicking or blowing on the screen.
Here’s some semi-NSFW vids showing off some panchira action.
There are currently only three girls to chose from, all of whom are gravure idols. There’s Yurika Kurosawa, Aki Suzumori and Kana Osumi.
Download Puff today and flick, blow, and fap your dirty little heart out. You perverts.
Shogakukan, Inc. just launched the Sushi Catalog App for the iPhone and iPod touch. Aside from containing ingredients for over 80 types of sushi (real sushi, not that California Roll crap), it also lets you search for sushi by type of meat (squid, tuna, salmon, etc.) as well as by season. You can also listen to a pronunciation of each dish which is spoken by the most dramatically epic voice in iPhone App history.
The Sushi Catalog App is 50% off until October 15th so get downloading already!!!
If you guessed “A Little Bit On The Awesome Side,” congratulations, you’re wrong as shit. It really stands for “Artificial Lifelike Being Optimized for Troubleshooting and Accurate Sabotage,” at least according to The Cyborg Name Decoder.
So I was using IntenseDebate for the comments for a while, but I decided to switch it over to Disqus. It’s not that IntenseDebate wasn’t good, it’s just that Disqus is better. Now you can post comments anonymously, or log in via Facebook Connect, Twitter, Open ID, or or you can sign up for a free Disqus account.
Just like you could follow other IntenseDebate users, you can o the same thing on Disqus, but now you link back to a wider array of other social networks in your Disqus profile like Flickr. Why not follow me?
Oh, and you can still subscribe to the RSS feed of any post’s comment section so you can see if people are replying to you. There’s also the ability to leave video comments, but I haven’t activated it yet. Maybe in the future if there’s a demand for it.
Another cool little thing with Disqus is the fact that we get our own Disqus community page! Check out albotas.disqus.com. It’s sort of a threaded version of different posts and images from Albotas for Disqus users to comment on. I haven’t figured out all the ins and outs yet, but it seems pretty cool so far.
I know a lot of other bigger blogs like /Film use Disqus, so you’ll be able to post just about anywhere without having to create a new account. Leave a comment and let me know what you guys think. Feel free to ask any questions as well.
Takada, an animator for Tatsunoko Productions (Speed Racer, Gatchaman) shows off just how powerful the Moving Memo Pad(Ugoku Memo-chou) app for the DSi truly is. Hopefully this app makes it to the American DSiWare shop soon. Then again, you could always download similar homebrew apps like Animanatee or Inchworm for your R4 to play on your regular DS, but unfortunately the DSi is homebrew proof… for now.
