This new gory Micci, dubbed the Bloody Waffle Micci, comes just in time for that certain special holiday. Limited to only 25 pieces, this handpainted 6″ resin figure features a nice glossy red topping and some scrumptious looking butter on top. Consistent with ESC Toy fashion, these pieces will each be signed, numbered, and packaged in the Scarecrow’s box.
Bloody Micci drops February 12 at 11pm PST and each piece will be sold for $90 exclusively through the ESC-Toy shop.
ESC-Toy LTD. president Erick Scarecrow sent over another one of his teasers, this time for what looks like a new Waffle Micci flavor. Wonder what it could be! Stay tuned for the full reveal coming soon!
Erick Scarecrow is at it again with a new colorway an all new headbanger colorway. Headbanger Kage “Shadow” is the followup to his Japan exclusive Headbanger Niji.
Mr. Scarecrow needs to just stop right now because I don’t think he can top this brutally awesome colorway. The composition of glossy and matte black is a nice extra touch, too.
These 8″ hand-painted resin busts are limited to just 20 pieces and will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Headbanger Kage “Shadow” will be available 1/15/10 over at the ESC Ebay Shop for $95.
Erick Scarecrow just sent in this sneak peek of a new Soopa Maria figure and it looks like Luigi is represented with this new green colorway. More pics and details soon!
For those of you keeping track, it seems like designer toy kingpin Erick Scarecrow’s been on a streak of outdoing himself lately. The trend continues with his Black Friday exclusive, the all new Shadow Spell Colorway of his Miruku Papa Sama character.
Before we get to the goodies we would like to thank everyone that has supported the ESC label. Today we are celebrating 4 years and this wouldn’t have happened without YOU! We’re going to keep the tradition going by releasing a new and exclusive Erick Scarecrow figure that you’ll only find on ESC. This year we are offering the LVL 9999 Shadow Spell Papa Sama. This is the third colorway in the LVL 9999 Papa Sama series exclusive to ESC and limited to 25pcs. worldwide. Each 8″ figure comes with a removable Dragon Nails spear, signed, numbered by artist and packaged in the Scarecrow box.
Story:
When the Butter and Chocolate LVL 9999 Papa Samas retire for the evening, the Shadow Spell Papa Samas begin their evening shift in search of Nite Time Wood Hermits.
These figures will be available to purchase at the ESC Ebay shop on Friday, 12am EST-11/27/09. All goods are sold on a first come and first serve basis.
These figures are priced at $100 each. Hopefully if you’re picking one of these up on Black Friday, it’s for a friend and not yourself. Only assholes blow $100 on themselves on Black Friday unless they’re loaded enough still get the rest of their X-mas shopping done, have absolutely no one to buy for, or maybe they’re Jewish or something and don’t celebrate Christmas.
That being said, if anyone is looking to get a little something for that special blogger in their life, this would be the perfect gift.
Here’s some more revealing pics of Erick Scarecrow’s grayscale colorway of Soopa Maria that I posted a sneak peek of earlier this week.
Erick Scarecrow’s Soopa Maria Sato character — clearly an homage to Super Mario Bros. 3 — is my absolute favorite among his figures by far and it would be a huge understatement to say that this new grayscale colorway makes me just a bit giddy.
This whopping 18″ figure is limited to a mere 10 pieces worldwide and will be available exclusively from the Japanese toy retailer Tomenosuke on Thursday, November 26th at 12am midnight JST.

I really like your work. Lots of us do. But please — pretty please — release something in higher quantities so that some of your U.S. fans can get in on the action. Our toy shelves are cryin’ out for more Erick Scarecrow awesomeness.
Here’s the latest from the ESC-TOY, LTD. newsletter:
Straight from Vince’s Toy Studio in Taiwan is the new exclusive…Ice Cream Micci Chocolate & Chocolate Sprinkles on Vanilla Cone by Erick Scarecrow. The 6″ handpainted resin figure is signed/numbered by the artist and comes sealed in Scarecrow’s box. The edition size is limited to 25pcs. worldwide and will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Please contact vtsstoys@gmail.com for all international orders.
There’s also an interesting post on Erick Scarecrow’s blog explaining why he’s doing all these dessert-themed Mousey Micci figures. It turns out, he has a bit of a sweet tooth and draws some of his inspiration from a past job working at a ice cream shop. Check out the full post here.
I’m gonna’ go out on a limb and say this is my favorite Micci figure thus far. I love the little angry chocolate eyebrows. I’d totally be down for a 3″ Mousey Micci blindboxed set. Anyone else?
New from Erick Scarecrow’s Mousey Micci series is the Milk Chocolate Caramel Waffle Micci. This release is a One-Up Japan exclusive and will be available 12:00am on 11/04/09. The 6″ handpainted resin figure is signed/numbered by the artist and comes sealed in Scarecrow’s box. The edition size is limited to 25pcs. worldwide and will be sold on a first come first serve basis.
Pretty delicious looking figure, but I’m dying to see some new stuff from Mr. Scarecrow. Maybe something limited to more than just 25 pieces worldwide.
Just in time for Halloween, Eric Scarecrow’s Headbanger Niji is hands down the creepiest thing he’s ever put out. The wild colors contrast nicely with the gory sculpt, and the headphones are a great extra touch.
These are actually the second figures from the Liquis series and they’re HIGHLY limited. There’s only 20 of these handpainted 8″ resin busts available worldwide and the only way to get them is from the Japan-based Tomensuke.
Headbanger Niji drops this Saturday, 10/17/09, and they’ll be sold on a first come first serve basis. Check out Tomenosuke.com or contact them directly for more info.
Teased earlier here, we finally have full pics revealing the new limited edition Ice Cream Micci figures from Erick Scarecrow.
First up is the Strawberry Edition, limited to just 25 pieces worldwide. They’ll go on sale this Friday, September 25th, at 11am EST at the ESC-Toy Shop.
Next up is the Green Tea Chocolate Edition. Erick Scarecrow only made 20 of these exclusively for Tomenosuke to celebrate their 3rd anniversary in Japan and they’ll be available worldwide Saturday, September 26th, at 12am JST.
Each 6″ resin figure will sell for $90, is hand-painted, signed, numbered, and comes shipped in a box, none of that bootleg plastic bag crap that some of these toy artists try to pull these days.
Remember, these are SUPER limited and they’ll only be available on a first come, first serve basis.
American toy designer Erick Scarecrow has been featured in the September 2009 issue of Hyper Hobby magazine!
Erick says:
“This is a very big deal for me because as a western creator/designer to be featured like this you have to be pretty different in your offerings. A lot of what’s normally featured in HH from the west is figs from big properties like Marvel, Disney etc. I’ve also been collecting the issues for several years so I never would’ve thought my figs along with my face would be in it.”
Congrats, dude! You deserve it! Now you can officially say that you’re big in Japan!
