It figures. As soon as I get the Homebrew Channel up and running on my Wii (again), a must-have title is announced and now I’ll have to upgrade my Wii’s firmware, rendering the Homebrew Channel useless, in order to play it. If you wanna’ check out the Excitebike trailer, skip to the 1:00 mark because those hosts are mad annoying. [Via Infendo] 
If you’ve never heard of the supreme awesomeness that is You have To Burn The Rope, then I highly urge you to check it out the Flash version. The epic game has been ported to the DS and it’s just as amazing as ever. There’s even a map now so you don’t get lost in the gigantic maze. [Via Tiny Cartridge]
Mega Man vs Metroid is a free flash game that you can play over at 8bit.com, but I warn you that this game is hard as balls. The game drops Mega Man into the world of Metroid to take on Samus as the final boss.

Takada, an animator for Tatsunoko Productions (Speed Racer, Gatchaman) shows off just how powerful the Moving Memo Pad (Ugoku Memo-chou) app for the DSi truly is. Hopefully this app makes it to the American DSiWare shop soon. Then again, you could always download similar homebrew apps like Animanatee or Inchworm for your R4 to play on your regular DS, but unfortunately the DSi is homebrew proof… for now.
