Daily Graffiti: Kirby Stencil Print from Salty The Pirate

This photograph was taken by the talented (and cute!) Canadian photographer Salty The Pirate from DeviantArt. The actual graffiti itself isn’t really mindblowing, but I love the colors of the picture and how dirty the sign is. This piece is also available as a print, which I’ll probably wind up buying at some point.

8-Bit Hip-Hop Video Features Mega Man, Mario, Pac-Man, Kirby, and More!

This video for the song “Follow Me” by Pato Pooh featuring Adam Tensta is just brilliant. It mixes classic 8-Bit gaming sprites with some 2009 glossy design aesthetic. The song also has a chiptune vibe to it that’s actually pretty awesome.

Seriously, you need to watch this.

You can also download Pato Pooh’s entire album here. Just click the link that says LADDA HEM ALBUMET GENOM ATT KLICKA HÄR.

Kirby Throw Pillows

My girlfriend’s youngest son Giovanni (JoJo for short) is probably the biggest Kirby fan on the face of the Earth. He draws different Kirby pictures every day and usually cuts them out and plays with them as if they were action figures. He has every Kirby game ever made and his room is filled with plush Kirbys of every kind. For his birthday one year, we made him Kirby cupcakes and he nearly had a heart attack.

If he ever saw these Kirby pillows, his little head would surely explode.
