Savage Cycles debuted their custom Resident Evil chopper at this year’s CES and it’s pretty badass. Even if you don’t consider yourself much of a gearhead, there’s no denying this thing’s awesomeness.
This limited edition 8-bit Resident Evil 4 canvas print print, entitled Los Illumidados, is based on an original painting by Arcade Art. It’s only $35, and 50% of all profits will go to Child’s Play. It’s limited to just 50 copies, so pick it up here while supplies last.
Original plan was to use metal keyrings for the pull rings, but I wanted something I could safely hurl at the TV when stupid things come on.
This leads me to believe that this dude’s a huge pussy. Everyone knows that real men throw actual grenades at their television sets whenever they disapprove of lame and non-manly programming.

Resident Evil 2 remains one of my favorite games of all time mostly because of all the hidden little secrets. The most batshit crazy unlockable was without a doubt The Tofu Survivor, otherwise known as Tofu Mode.
To unlock Tofu Mode, you had to beat the game 3 times with a good ranking on each playthrough, but the game was 2 discs long so you essentially had to beat 6 games to unlock Tofu Mode. And if that wasn’t enough of a pain in the rumplestiltzkin, Tofu Mode put you in the role of a hunk of tofu with nothing but a knife to make your way from the sewers to the roof of the Raccoon City Police Department.
It wasn’t easy, but it was a fun and challenging to an already amazing game.
As you can see in the video above, Tofu Mode returns in Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, but this time around, instead of playing as Tofu, you actually shoot a bunch of wriggling tofu blocks.
Looks like just one more reason pick this game up and I’m sooooo freaking glad Capcom is making this an unlockable mode instead of charging for it as downloadable content.
Karen Dyer is the actress who did the voice and motion-capture work for Sheva Alomar in Resident Evil 5. She’s also smokin’ cute and released a free digital calendar where she’s dressed up in all sorts of sexy Sheva outfits.
How awesome would it be if there were 8-bit versions of Resident Evil, Half-Life, and Pikmin for the original NES!? Someone out there with mad programming skills needs to make this a reality. Until then, you can pick up these sweet magnet sets from Etsy seller ArcadeArt for only $20 per set.
