Kinda' creepy, kinda' cute: Dancing Dolfie Robot

I really hate to stereotype, but it seems like Dolfie collectors are a bit of an odd bunch. Primarily males, Dolfie collectors refer to their dolls as “daughters” and take pictures of them in different outfits. But then again, maybe this is just the otaku version of customizing vinyl toys…

One obsessive collector took his Dolfie love to new heights by turning one of his dolls into a dancing robot.

HOLY SH*T! Blindboxed Lego Minifigs Coming in 2010

4147693854_0c4ea31322_o

Looks like Lego is taking a cue from designer toys (which took their cue from Japanese gashapon figures) and will be releasing a series of blindboxed minifigs next summer. The series has some fresh looking characters like a sexy cheerleader (#2), dastardly gentleman (#8), and luchadore (#15), but HOLY FUCKING SHIT THERE’S A LEGO NINJA AND A LEGO ZOMBIE!!!!!!!!!

Kinda’ bummed at the absence of any sort of pirate in this series, but it’s still fucking awesome.

Splitterbot – The Cute Little Headphone Sharing Robot

splitterbotuno

I’ve never really needed a headphone splitter, but the Splitterbot is so cute that I just might get one for no other reason than to go “awwwww.”

Splitterbot comes in keychain form and you can remove his head, exposing his jack nugget like so.

Throw that nugget in your headphone hole and your ready to rock to the 2nd power.

So what DOES Albotas mean, anyway?

If you guessed “A Little Bit On The Awesome Side,” congratulations, you’re wrong as shit. It really stands for “Artificial Lifelike Being Optimized for Troubleshooting and Accurate Sabotage,” at least according to The Cyborg Name Decoder.

Really Strange Game Boy Commercial from the 80’s

So this robot lives in hell, but he gets lonely, so he creates a boy in a jean jacket with a Game Boy so that he can play some Tetris with him. The boy beats the robot in Tetris and then kills him with his magic finger powers. Wait… what?

[Via Engadget]

*Update*
I just watched it again and lol’d when they called Tetris “outrageous.”
