I think the message behind this piece is that we’re all invaders. Poignant, creative, and a great use of the street as a canvas. A little bit of overspray, but it’s all part of the charm, I think. A++

As a semi-professional blogger for one of the most amazing geek news sites on the internet, I tend to hand out a few business cards at conventions and press gatherings. Some of these Space Invaders concepts by Logan Walters are kind of corny, but others like Batman and Homer are pretty awesome.
Photographer, graphic designer, and design director Adam Richardson recently released pics from his news project entitled “Invaded” where he adds iconic imagery from the game Space Invaders onto actual war photos. I was a bit bummed to find out that instead of actually taking the pictures himself, Richardson just snags them from stock photo sites like Getty Images and AP Images. Although it takes away some of the magic, the final results are still pretty brilliant.
