Twitter user seanrsoni tweeted me this pic of a Famitsu scan showing some unannounced characters for Super Street Fighter IV. I immediately rushed over to my friend Google to see if I could find any more info, and sure enough, Kotoku has the same image and these two screenshots…
Man, got all stoked thinking I scored my first exclusive leak, but it’s still some pretty cool news.
Logan Zawacki (the same dude who wrote The Excavation of Mushroom Island) sent in pics of these 4 skateboard decks that he designed for the upcoming I’M BOARD skateboard art exhibit in Jacksonville, FL being held this weekend. The games represented are Mega Man, Super Mario Bros., Street Fighter II, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It looks like he took models from the Tony Hawk games and rendered them with the appropriate attire to fit their themes. Awesome work, indeed. Check the gallery below to get up close and personal with the freshness of the details.
Amazon just knocked $51 off the price of the Mad Catz Street Fighter IV T.E. FightStick for Xbox 360 bringing it down to just $98.99! For some odd reason, they’ve only taken $20 off the price of the PS3 version, leaving it at $129.99. :/ I already have a T.E. stick for the PS3, but I’ve been wanting one for the 360 as well so I can play online against my anti Sony friends. Might have to pick this up before the deal goes away.
Capcom recently announce that a new Super Street Fighter IV anime directed by Fumitomo Kizaki (Basilisk) at the Gonzo anime studio will be bundled with the Super Street Fighter IV game as a Japanese Xbox 360 exclusive. Check out the trailer below.
This looks way better than the anime that was bundled with last year’s SFIV and further cements Juri as my new favorite character. Sorry, Akuma, you’re just not sexy enough. Capcom also announced a live action movie based on Dead Rising. Check the trailer and more details after the jump. This fresh Akuma piece by SOLO was featured in Capcom’s Street Fighter Tribute and it’s easy to see why. This thing freaking owns.
This statue featuring Juri from the upcoming Super Street Fighter IV has some exquisite details, right down to the curves of her cameltoe. Proceed with caution. Continue reading “Super Street Fighter IV Juri statue is awesome, but kinda’ crotchy.” →
Okay, I know I said I wasn’t posting anything for the rest of the day, but unlike the rest of you uncaring turdbuckets, fplus actually sent me something pretty awesome via Twitter and I just couldn’t not share this with you all ASAP. He sent over a link to this awesome live action Street Fighter Alpha II thing of weirdness and joy. Way better than that Jean-Claude Van Damme garbage, right?
I’ve seen my fair share of Street Fighter themed custom toys, but I’ve never seen one that’s really blown my mind (except for this one). I’d always hoped that I would be the first one to make a truly epic Street Fighter Munny, but since I’m a lazy bastard, Emmanuel Pérez del Río beat me to the punch.
Way better than I could’ve done anyway. Awesome job, Emmanuel! If you have any awesome custom designer toys that you’d like to show off, email me!!! [Capcom Unity via Toycutter]

Who says Japan gets all the good stuff? Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes came out for arcades and the Wii in Japan way back in December of 2008, but we won’t be getting it over here in the U.S. until January 2010 (re-named Tatsunoko VS Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars), but Capcom’s made up for the long wait by adding some new characters into the mix. First up is Joe the Condor from the Gatchaman series representing the Tatsunoko side. He’s got some stylish attacks as well as a powerful gun/grappling hook sidearm thing. Secondly we have Zero from the Mega Man X/Mega Man Zero series for the Capcom side. Zero comes equipped with his trusty Mega Buster, Plasma Sword and some very speedy moves. And stay away from his Ultra combo, that Plasma Sword is no joke. Seriously, shit will fuck you up. Check out two vids of Joe and Zero in action and a big ol’ gallery after the link. Also, Morrigan bondage. Continue reading “Joe the Condor and Zero revealed for ‘Tatsunoko VS Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars’” → |
