Just don’t hurt me when I swivel your boobies like analog sticks. Chances are, you’ll wind up liking it. (winky face)
Quick, someone invent a shirt like this that actually works as a controller!

If you’re the type of geek who likes to let their nerd flag fly, but doesn’t want to wear the same ol’ shirts that anyone can get from their local Hot Topic, check out these super sexy, super limited Odin and Shiva tees for Final Fantasy XIII. Since these shirts are limited in quantity and imported from Japan, they go for $40, but it’s really a small price to pay for being the most stylish nerd in town.
Riccardo Bucchioni just sent in word that one of his Threadless submissions was recently voted into production! About the design, he says, “it’s a sorta “old comic book adverts selling internet/new century geeky stuff” design.” You can get the shirt here for only $18. Congrats, Riccardo!
Italian artist/customizer/designer Riccardo Bucchioni was previously featured on oldschool Albotas in a weekly segment that some of you might remember as Munny Monday (all those old posts were lost in the server switch earlier this year) and he recently shot me word that he designed three new tees based on the tv show Heroes for Funkrush Clothing. Each fake promotional tee features a mock business from one of 3 Heroes characters. There’s Nakamura Travels, Bennet Cheerleading Camp, and Sylar’s Clock Shop.
Each shirt goes for £20.00 (about $32 US) The dudes behind Funkrush are also behind Supercombo, makers of the Space Invaders/Darth Vader shirt dubbed Space In-Vader, which has previously been featured on the site. Be sure to check out their blog for updates on all their newest wares.
Here’s a shirt that most sane people would probably never wear in a million years, but it’s still kinda’ interesting, I guess. Game Paused is selling this Link t-shirt with the following description:
From the description, it seems like they either want you to believe you can go on a Zelda-like adventure while wearing this shirt, or they’re telling you that you should only wear it in the comfort of your own home while playing video games. There’s even a Master Sword strapped to the back.
Would any of you wear this in public (conventions don’t count!)? Let me know in the comments!
The kind folks over at Filter Creative Group were awesome enough to team up with yours truly here at Albotas.com to give away a righteous Yo Gaba Gabba! prize pack consisting of a way sexy DJ Lance Rock t-shirt and a copy of the album Yo Gabba Gabba! Music is Awesome! which has songs from bands like The Roots, The Shins, Of Montreal, and Chromeo. Pretty freakin’ rad, right? I know! All you have to do is leave a comment on this post and you have a chance to win the stuff pictured above! The contest deadline is 11:59pm EST on Tuesday, December 8th. One lucky winner will be chosen at random and announced by 12/12. Make sure to fill in your email address when you leave a comment so I can contact you if you win! Only 1 entry per person, you dirty cheaters! Now hurry up and get to commenting!!!
Our friends at Single Second, makers of the awesome Zombie Bowser Jr. t-shirt, are having a huge holiday blowout all through the month of December and taking a whopping 40% off every order. All you have to do is use the code blood40 upon checkout and boom! Savings, son! This would be the ideal time to pick up some of those fresh tees that you couldn’t afford earlier in the year, or maybe you could pick up a white Zombie Bowser Jr. tee for a close friend, or maybe your favorite blogger… in a size medium plz! Just remember, all prices on the Single Second online shop are marked in Canadian dollars. Happy shopping, you fashionable bastards.
I probably don’t have to tell you this, but this typographic Chest Hair shirt is obviously a little bit on the awesome side. [Via swissmiss]
This week The Hundreds will be releasing two fresh new limited edition T-shirts at their flagship stores in SF and LA. They’ve joined forces with the iconic comic book master Stan Sakai, best known for his comic book series Usagi Yojimbo, which is currently published by Dark Horse Comics. Each tee features none other than the one and only Miyamoto Usagi, a ronin samurai rabbit loosely based on Miyamoto Musashi – the famous Japanese swordsman. You may also remember Usagi from a little cartoon back in the day called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Stan Sakai himself will be making an appearance at The Hundreds store in LA on Saturday, November 21st from 11 am to 12pm to sign the latest issue of his monthly series. And to top it all off, the first 25 people to show will also score a signed copy of Yokai, the first full-color Usagi Yojimbo comic.
“I am always excited to hear stories of the impact of Usagi on other creative individuals, especially those working outside of comics” said Usagi Yojimbo creator, Stan Sakai. “I hope that this collaboration exposes a whole new group of people to Usagi, and comics in general. I’m grateful to have had the chance to work on this project with Bobby and everyone at The Hundreds.” “Much of what I do today, as creative director for the Hundreds, stems from poring over Stan Sakai’s Usagi Yojimbo art as a youth,” said The Hundreds co-founder Bobby Kim. “To this day, it was one of the most influential comic books in my life, and so it was an honor to work with Stan on two exclusive pieces of art for The Hundreds. To any fan of The Hundreds, it is important to acknowledge and appreciate Usagi Yojimbo’s inspiration to the brand.” More pics
