Twinstick shooter by Premium Agency and Square Enix featuring cute robots, cubes, and lots of blood. The official press release calls it “red oil”, but let’s get real, here. For only 800MSP, if you have a 360, you need this game.

A lot of people were pissed to find out Mai Shiranui wasn’t included in the King of Fighters XII roster, but at least SNK had the common sense to put her where she truly belongs: a shmup. Wait, what? The King of Fighters: Sky Stage is a vertical shooter set in the King of Fighters universe. The title is set for an XBOX Live Arcade release. I can’t freaking wait. No matter how silly and pointless it seems. [Via Kotaku]
River City Dodgeball All-Stars is an updated re-make of the classic Super Dodgeball, which my local arcade actually has on a big-screen Neo Geo Arcade! The premise is simple: Don’t get hit by the ball! You control players inside the main dodgeball arena, but you also have guys on the outside of the opponent’s area. This lets you set up back and forth passes to confuse the other team and hit ‘em from behind. Once all the players in the main playing field rund out of health, it’s game over. This game is GREAT when played with a friend.
You can download a free trial here by clicking the link that says River City Dodgeball All-Stars in English amidst a bunch of Japanese text. You can also download a version for Xbox 360 from the Indie games section of the XBLA. The Xbox version is called Downtown Smash Dodgeball, but you won’t find it alphabetically listed under “D” because it’s in Japanese. Just go to the “Sports” category and it should be at the bottom for 800MSP. Fun Fact: The classic brawler game River City Ransom was released under the name Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari in Japan. River City Dodgeball All-Stars… Downtown Smash Dodgeball… I wonder…. [Technabob via Indie Games]
Don’t have the $15 to download Shadow Complex for XBLA? Have some spare Legos lying around? Just do what 2 Much Caffeine did and make you own version of the game in Lego form. Or you could do what I did and beg your girlfriend for $15. Whatever works. If you own an Xbox 360 and haven’t downloaded Shadow Complex yet, you’re obviously a huge chump.
