For his ongoing “Playing With History” series, Australian graphic artist Kode Logic takes iconic photos from history and pop culture and blends them with everything from X-Men to Mortal Kombat. Take a look.
RED BULL CANS IN JUSTICE LEAGUE OUTFITS
The Red Bull Superhero Project is a design concept by New York-based Art Director Diego Fonseca.
It’s basic human knowledge that Red Bull tastes like complete caca mixed with vomit (if you don’t think so, you’re either a goddamn liar or your taste buds are playing an evil trick on you), but these packaging redesigns featuring the iconic costumes of DC superheroes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Green Lantern are sick enough that I could see people buying them just to display on their shelves. I’m sure people have displayed lamer things. I have a shelf full of Orbitz. Remember those? The little orbs are totally still floating and there’s even a mail-in rebate for a free movie ticket to see Independence Day starring Will Smith in theaters! No, you can’t have one.

9 Thoughts on Superhero Films In a Post-Avengers Industry
I understand completely that Hollywood will continue to create comic book and superhero-related films. I get that they’re going to be blockbusters, regardless of the hero and studios involved, as well as the producers, directors, and even casting calls.
You may or may not have noticed the impact The Avengers has had on every other super hero film being announced or prepping its release. In case you haven’t noticed, consider the fact that we’re seeing a Fantastic Four and X-Men crossover film, Wonder Woman is being introduced in the upcoming Batman and Superman film, and we’re seeing a huge surge of villains in the upcoming Spider-Man sequels.
Here’s some thoughts on a post-Avengers Hollywood, how it’s affected superhero movies, and how it’s going to continue to pull in more unbelievable hype.
Battle Wedding Crashed By Batman, Iron Man, & More
This is pretty much the geek wedding to end all geek weddings. Saddened by the lack of lightsabers though.
Want: Batman Tumbler Golf Cart
This golf cart was customized to look like the Tumbler from the Chris Nolan Batman films and it was actually used on the Warner Bros. lot where the films were made! This is perfect for ridding your local golf course of unwanted villainy or doing donuts in the mall parking lot until security calls the cops, in which case just try and catch me!
This is up for grabs on eBay for a ridiculous price and the auction ends in three days. Buy it for me or don’t buy it at all.

A Little Bit On ‘Batman: Arkham Origins’ [VIDEO INTERVIEW]
At New York Comic Con I got to interview voice actors Roger Craig Smith (Batman), Troy Baker, (The Joker), and Warner Bros. Games Montreal Creative Director Eric Holmes about one of my most anticipated games this year, Batman: Arkham Origins.
Find out why Roger Craig Smith will never use his Batman voice to order pizza, who Troy Baker thinks is the sexiest vixen in the Batman universe, and what Eric Holmes and his team have done to give fans a Batman game like no other.

DC Comics To Take On ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ With Two New Shows
Not wanting their competition at Marvel hogging all the TV spotlight, DC will be launching not one, but two new original TV series. Fox picked up the rights to Gotham, a Batman prequel series centered around a young Detective Gordon and it’s being overseen by The Mentalist creator Bruno Heller.
In addition, NBC is working on a pilot for Constantine, a supernatural detective show. The script is being penned by David S. Goyer (Da Vinci’s Demons) and Daniel Cerone (The Mentalist).
Seems like now is the perfect time to be both a comic fan and TV junkie.
Fox and Warner Bros. Announce New Police Drama, Gotham
It seems like Warner Bros. wants to have something to coincide with Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. television show on ABC. Fox and Warner Bros. Television are apparently working on a television show titled ‘Gotham,’ focusing on the police force in Gotham City and a young James Gordon before he became a commissioner. We’ll follow Gordon as he does detective work revolving around some of Gotham’s most famous villains.
I like this idea a lot, as it’s been done in a couple of alternative DC comics already. Most notably, Gotham Central, by Ed Brubaker, Greg Rucka and MIchael Lark. It really opened the idea of how interesting it really could be following around the Gotham police force in a post-Batman world.
The show will be developed by Bruno Heller, who also worked on HBO’s Rome and CBS’ Mentalist. No word on when anything else will come out of this any time soon, but regardless, I’m excited.
Friendship All-Stars of Friendship: Batman
Created by Stoopid Buddy Stoodios (Robot Chicken) and L Studio, Friendship All-Stars of Friendship is a new animated webseries in which celebrities are parodied by putting them in the same room together in some way. They’ve made Guillermo del Toro and Ron Perlman best hanging buds, Luis Guzman, John Lasseter, and Brad Bird Hawaiian shirt-off pals, and now they’ve created this video in which Val Kilmer, Michael Keaton, George Clooney, and Christian Bale have a sleepover together. That’s a sleepover of past Batmans for everyone to find amusing. Watch the short above.
Batman Is Getting A New Arcade Game And It Looks Pretty Awesome
Bummed about the lack of Batmobile action in Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City? Well hopefully this will make up for it. Spectacular Action and Raw Thrills will be putting out an all new Batman arcade game this November where players will get pilot a wide variety of Batmobiles such as the 60’s TV and Tumbler incarnations and even the Batwing!
Players can save their progress via a PIN pad and multiple machines can even be hooked up for multiplayer action, but we’re not sure if this is a straight-up racing game, or something more Crazy Taxi-esque with an open world and multiple missions.
Keep an eye out at your local arcade (they still exist!) this November.
