RED BULL CANS IN JUSTICE LEAGUE OUTFITS

The Red Bull Superhero Project is a design concept by New York-based Art Director Diego Fonseca.

It’s basic human knowledge that Red Bull tastes like complete caca mixed with vomit (if you don’t think so, you’re either a goddamn liar or your taste buds are playing an evil trick on you), but these packaging redesigns featuring the iconic costumes of DC superheroes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Green Lantern are sick enough that I could see people buying them just to display on their shelves. I’m sure people have displayed lamer things. I have a shelf full of Orbitz. Remember those? The little orbs are totally still floating and there’s even a mail-in rebate for a free movie ticket to see Independence Day starring Will Smith in theaters! No, you can’t have one.

More Injustice Hype: Solomon Grundy vs. Green Lantern

This game is getting cooler every week. Here’s a fight trailer for Solomon Grundy vs. Green Lantern. I’m really digging Solomon’s moves, and what Green Lantern does with his ring throughout the entire match is ridiculous and funny. Real stoked for this.

Game drops April 16.

Codak Moment

It’s been a month since the start of the DC Comics relaunch. While the event has overall been successful at generating interest, the changes to many of the characters remain decisive among readers.  Dresden Codak artist Aaron Diaz takes a stab at redesigning the Justice League with the goal of making the characters appealing to new readers and creating new story opportunities. You can read detailed notes on his costume design choices HERE and HERE.

Green Lantern x Brisk Iced Tea.
Comic artist Kenneth Rocafort designed the art for the all-new Brisk Green Tea with Mango Dragonfruit. For a limited time, the art will feature The Green Lantern. After the promotional campaign is over, the cans will feature some fantasy comic inspired work, also by Rocafort.
There’s also a sweet little contest over at anyonecanbechosen.com where you can win a custom Green Lantern Xbox 360 and a chance to be a future Green Lantern production.
Anyone taste this new flavor yet? It sounds like a million different flavors and it has the word “dragon” in it which leads me to believe it’ll give me superpowers.

Daily Geekstomization: Green Lantern custom by Ian Ziobrowski aka NUGGLIFE.
From the artist: “3 inch custom dunny commission for collector “Green Lantern”. Not something I would normally do, but this was for a good friend. The ring comes off the ear, and the lantern is made from scratch!”

The Green Lantern’s toes make me weep for the current state of movies. They also creep me the hell out. Not sure what’s worse: this or batnipples.
Real talk: why the fuck’s the suit gotta’ be CG? Did they honestly think it would look good? Was a real suit too expensive? Knock it off, Hollywood! You’re acting silly and I won’t stand for it.
