Monopoly News: Iron Out, Cat In
The iron token that has existed since the 1930’s is now retiring and being replaced by a cat. Hasbro ran a “Save Your Token,” campaign in which people voted for which token should stay in the Monopoly board game series. The iron only got 8% of votes from 185 different countries in the world. Ouch…
I guess it’s time to modernize this timeless board game by adding a cat to it. The Internet agrees, as voting for a cat token replacement beat out a potential toy robot, guitar, helicopter and diamond ring.
Next month, a "Golden Token" Monopoly will be sold exclusively at Target for $17.99, which will feature the last appearance of the iron token, as well as the five other proposed tokens.

Fury’s Last Stand
ManOfAction7666 put together this diorama of Nick Fury and Captain America taking on Baron Zemo and the hordes of HYDRA. They’re all from Hasbro’s Marvel Legends line of action figures. According to ManOfAction7666, the entire process of making the set, photographing it, and editing in Photoshop took about two days. And the army of HYDRA goons is actually the same single action figure Photoshopped into different poses about two dozen times!

Adventure Time Monopoly Board Is Clearly The Cat’s Pajamas.
I’m normally way too impatient to bother with Monopoly, but this mock-up board by Finn Haverkamp has me totally psyched to roll some dice and invest in tiny realestate with fake money.
Too bad this isn’t real because I’d love to see what the cards and board pieces for this thing would be like. Those of you with patience, imagination, and some time on your hands can get a higher res version right here and whip up your own Adventure Time Monopoly while the rest of us wait impatiently for Hasbro to get their rears in gear.
