Daily Graffiti

Here’s a heaping buttload of Avengers graffiti spotted in New Jersey by markchevy. That photorealistic Iron Man and Captain America piece is all kinds of legit and holy hot damn the lettering on the Thor one! Skills.

The Avengers As Sailor Scouts by Ann Marcellino.

Dear Ann Marcellino,

Make the world a better place by pitching this as an animated series to Marvel. Please and thank you. Okay, a question for the dudes (be honest!): How many of you watched (and LIKED) Sailor Moon as a kid?

20 Minutes Of Behind-The-Scenes ‘Avengers’ Footage And A Big Fat (Most Likely True) Rumor.
In case you couldn’t tell by the barrage of Avengers-related posts lately, we’re pretty stoked for this movie.
First up, let’s get the juicy gossip out of the way. The way /Film tells it, at the end of tonight’s press conference at the Avengers premiere, Robert Downey Jr. said that the cast would be shooting a final scene after the event.

The crowd laughed, but Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige seemed notably irritated that Downey had made the comment. Could it be that he let the cat out of the bag? Or was Feige just angry that he was starting false rumors, which could lead to undeliverable expectations?
As the crowd was abuzz, Downey responded that he wasn’t kidding. And then, wait for it, said “No more questions!” At that point, the cast and crew exited the stage, leaving all the geek journalists wondering if Downey was joking or was he telling the truth.

How can anybody possibly be irritated by Robert Downey Jr? The dude’s 100% charm and awesomeness.
But it doesn’t end there. Marc Ruffalo told The Playlist:

"We’re shooting a scene tonight. I’m not sure exactly where it’s gonna go. All I know is that someone came in with the costume and said, ‘Here’s some wardrobe. We don’t know where you’re going to be or what you’re doing.’ ” Ruffalo said. We asked if it will be in the “The Avengers” when it hits theaters Ruffalo added, “Yeah. So I’m like, ‘All right, when are we doing that?’ Today after we’re done."

It’s probably safe to assume they shot some sort of after-the-credits clip. I mean, the movie hits theaters in TWO FREAKING WEEKS. What else could it be?
While we scratch our heads dreaming up what the final scene could involve, enjoy this buttload of behind-the-scenes clips from TrailerAddict embedded in sequential order over on /Film. I tried embedding them here, but Tumblr was being whack and they weren’t showing up.

/Film: Watch 20 Minutes of Behind the Scenes Footage From ‘The Avengers’

Oh, Hey! It’s Some New Avengers clips!

Not nearly as tantalizing as the jiggly Black Widow clip, these new looks at The Avengers are still pretty rad. Up top we have Tony Stark talking to some jive to Loki, the film’s main villain. I’m almost looking forward to these one-on-one dialogue scenes more than the action because it’ll be cool to see how the actors play these characters off of each other.

Then there’s this clip that focuses on Thor in all his mighty Thoriness.

This Hulk TV spot has been making the rounds for about a week now, but we slacked on posting it, so here ya’ go. Our bad.

So far, none of these clips seem to give the slightest of shits about Hawkeye, which leads me to guess that we’ll probably be experiencing everything in the movie through his eyes since he’s the one we’ve seen the least of in as far as the movies go. It’d be the easiest way to introduce the character into the team, but I could be totally dead wrong since I don’t write movies for a living.

The Avengers drops May 4th. Don’t forget your limited edition 3D glasses.
