Android S3 Reveal Part 2

Check out four more designs from the third series of Andrew Bell’s Android Mini Collectibles. I love see-through plastic, so the Nexus figure is making me even more excited for my box of S3s to hit my doorstep. The Barista Bot is a self-portrait of Andrew from when he worked in his sister’s café and was a robot. (I frickin’ knew it!) KaNO designed the Intergalactic figure, which of course pays tribute to one famous dancing robot from the ’90s. Finally, MAD designed the CRY-ON, which has some sexy silver accents.

Introducing Dunny 3” Series 2012
The lineup of 3-inch 2012 Dunnys has leaked onto the Internet. And in spirit of ruining fun surprises, which is what the Internet was built for anyway, here it is for your viewing pleasure. Mainstays like Tara McPherson, MAD, and Kronk made the list. Andrew Bell is on there too, but the real surprise is Nakanari, who has a Spiki figure. There’s no date yet for these 15 Dunnys, but it can’t be too long of a wait. Last year’s series launched in late June.

A Little Bit on the MAD Side: The 4-foot Dunny: an elusive beast. Few have had the courage to paint the behemoth bunny, but you can watch MAD paint one at Foxwoods Casino this Friday and Saturday if you live anywhere near Connecticut. MAD will also be signing and taking pictures. Bring some cash though because he can only sign stuff you buy at his merch table.

Mad’s Zombie Robber Dunny Is The Sickest 8” Dunny Yet!
This piece is smokin’ hot! Kidrobot has really levelled up their game with the past few Dunny releases, and this new piece from MAD definitely raises the bar. Each one comes with a knit beanie which conceals a stolen diamond (not real, of course), a flashlight, and cloth moneybag - Scrooge McDuck style!
This grey version is limited to 1,500 pieces, but there’s some speculation about a possible chase colorway or SDCC 2011 exclusive version.
You can get the grey one on July 21st for $75 from  Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com, and specialty retailers worldwide.

Gaming’s Next Top Princess.

I caught this on Cartoon Network’s MAD last night. As a fan of both video games and America’s Next Top Model, I feel like this was made just for me.

Kidrobot 10: KidRiot drops May 12th.
The newest figure of Kidrobot's mascot was designed by non other than artist extraordinaire MAD. The 8-inch vinyl figure sports a removable riot helmet, tactical shield (not pictured), scrumptious looking doughnut (not edible), and a nightstick with “The Judge” inscribed on it. This guy drops May 12th for $60 and is limited to just 1,500 pieces worldwide.
This is actually one of the cooler Kidrobot figures and I’m loving the detail and accessories. Hopefully there’s a chase colorway. Maybe all black SWAT style with some blood splatters.
MAD will be doing a three city tour for the figure’s launch. First he’ll stop at Kidrobot LA on May 12th, San Francisco on May 13th, then winding down in Miami on May 14th. Each shindig goes from 6-8. Bring your riot gear.
Check out Kidrobot’s blog, The KRonikle for more pics.

MAD made this for a private collector, but it really needs to be put into mass production so I can stop fapping to this pic.
