I’ve paid actual money for action figures that aren’t nearly as cool as these.
Some guy named Vince Kramer has created a calendar of action figures fucking each other. Because 2013 needed a thing like this, I suppose. Kramer took photos of a bunch of action figures in various sex positions and put them together to make one raunchy plastic calendar.

Revoltech released a Gunbuster figure last year. And it was about time. After nearly 25 years since the anime premiered, there still weren’t many quality figures based on the series’ giant robot. Now Bandai are adding Gunbuster to their Super Robot Chogokin line. The 6” figure will be released in March for $74.

OMFG. Look at this thing. It’s like the giant robot equivalent of Kaws’ Dissected Companion. The super accurate recreation from the original Mazinger series comes with a bunch of LEDs and full size docking bay. It’s almost a foot tall. For the $440 price tag, I was hoping for something more like three feet. It’s still awesome and I still want one though.

To celebrate the 25th Mega Manniversary, D-Arts have created this awesome box set of Mega Man figures. $45 will get you all three figures - Mega Man, Rush, and Met. But wait there’s more! The set comes with a ton of accessories like shot effects, extra appendages, and an extra face. This won’t be released until February, but you can already pre-order it.

This is the limited edition Super Alloy “Batman by Jim Lee” figure from Play Imaginative. Standing in at approximately 12-inches, this beast has 50 points of articulation including fully articulate hands and fingers, die-cast metal torso, arms, and legs, magnets embedded in the feet so that it can be posed on the included dragon gargoyle base, removable cape, Batarang and grappling gun accessories, and the face even has skin-like texture.

Each month, Kaiyodo puts out a new super-articulated toy for its Yamaguchi series, usually based on a giant robot. This month’s giant robot is Eva Unit 04 from the Rebuild of Evangelion movie series. This thing has clearly been marinated and slow roasted to perfection in all types of awesomesauce.
The artist meticulously took a toy female aviator suit, dyed it orange, sewed all the accents on, and even got a t-shirt shop to add the Aperture Science logo. All the facial features were repainted and everything else was made from scratch.
