COMIC BOOK STAINED GLASS WINDOWS

Check out these custom made stained glass windows by Redditor OwlQuill. Perfect for the Holy Church of Geekery if one were to actually exist somewhere. if it did, I would want to be the Reverend. Or maybe the minister. Is there a difference? Whoever gets the coolest outfit.

As awesome as these are, the Hawkeye one makes my heart sad knowing that the series will end with issue #22. Great job, Matt Fraction. You broke my heart, you perfect bastard.

DAILY GRAFFITI: NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH EDITION

Canada-based artist Andrew Lamb has plastered over 70 Neighborhood Watch signs with various superheroes. The results look way better than the original signs, but it’s funny because vandalism is illegal. Guess the neighborhood isn’t being watched as closely as those signs would have you believe.

Question: You’re part of your local Neighborhood Watch and you see some joker doing this to signs. Do you bust him or let him go an account of if being awesome?

Loving this clever pic by the one and only COMBO. Who remembers Ecco The Dolphin? Only version I ever played was the one for Game Gear and I never really liked it, but I’d play it for hours anyway.

IF THIS PROSTHETIC ROBOT ARM WERE REAL, I’D CUT MY ARM OFF JUST TO GET ONE

Check out this 3D rendering by digital artist Cristiano Rinaldi. This is some Deus Ex meets Skynet type shit. Luke Skywalker, Annakin Skywalker, Jaime Lannister, Finn from Adventure Time — just image how kick-ass those guys would look rocking one of these bad boys!!!

It totally reminds me of these robot things from Remember Me.

LITTLE GOLDEN MANGA

Edgy adult manga titles Attack on Titan, Death Note, and FLCL get adorable Little Golden Book covers thanks to artist Matt Reedy. I’m eagerly awaiting the Demon Beast Invasion version which will most likely never happen.

DAILY GRAFFITI: THE SICKEST ‘AKIRA’ GRAFFITI EVER [GALLERY]
Let us celebrate this crowning achievement in storytelling and animation by admiring a bunch of walls that some insanely talented jerks vandalized.

Katsuhiro Otomo’s Akira is masterpiece - a legendary staple of pure creativity and artistic genius. Its reach has spread beyond the niche fandom of nerd culture and made its way into the mainstream. This highly influential film (and the manga that it was based on) has inspired many of the most well-known writers, directors, musicians, and artists of our time. Akira’s presence can be felt everywhere from car commercials to rap videos and even the latest blockbuster movies. While the film version was released in the late 80’s, it remains a cinematic spectacle the likes of which have never been seen even decades later.

DAILY GRAFFITI: WASTED YOUTH EDITION
This piece of street art was submitted to our Geek Graffiti Flickr Group by 2nez. It reminds me of the days when my mom would go to the mall to get her hair did and give me five bucks to spend at the arcade. Five bucks which immediately went into one of three games: The Simpsons, X-Men, or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Kids these days will never know how good it used to be.
