Jumbo Combattler V from Rotobox
Rotobox continue their stunning customization work with this tribute to Combattler Godaikin toy. True to the original, this Qee version combines five pieces to form the full robot. It’s a one-off and has already been sold, but you can still drool at all the photos here.
Albotip: The “V” in “Combattler V” is pronounced like the letter (as opposed to “five”) and stands for “Victory.”

Check Yourself: 4 Places to Get Custom Sneaks

Check Yourself is a new column from Albotas. Our goal is to highlight awesome stuff that we simply haven’t been able to get to, from current games and TV shows to emerging trends. So without further adieu, here’s four places to design your own sneakers.

What Is It: Some sneaker manufacturers have caught onto the customizing scene and have decided to capitalize on it. Most of these sites let you choose specific colors, patterns, or sometimes even material and text to customize your sneakers with.

Why You Should Check It: If you’re like me, you love customized sneakers but don’t have the resources [read: talent] to make your own. These sites let you unleash your creativity via Flash-based interfaces. You can get surprisingly detailed, customizing right down to the color of the stitching.

Hit the jump for the countdown and photos!

Rocko’s Modern Footwear
These Dunks were customized by PaperBag_Goods. The color scheme isn’t exactly the same as Rocko’s shirt, but it totally works. I’d wear these today, no questions asked.

Custom Munny by Porl” for the Milk Munny Custom Show.
This custom Munny was sent in to us by Porl” who made it for the upcoming Milk Munny custom show which kicks off this October. All the profits from the show go to the Keep A Breast Foundation, so it should be a pretty rad event.
About this piece, Porl” says:

This is the Munny I painted up for the Milk Munny exhibition in aid of Keep a Breast foundation. He is called Bob and he is an unwilling, rather scared of heights Jetpack test pilot. I must admit he does look a little worried :P

Excellent work dude! Can’t wait to see more submissions from the show!

Tenacious Toys Custom Marshall Blind Box Series reveal: LYS0L & Den Ramos

Tenacious Toys just sent over some pics of these pieces by LYS0L and Den Ramos for their Custom Marshall Blind Box Series. While Den’s piece looks kinda’ like a pissed-off turd, we’re loving LYS0L’s super-clean Day-of-the-Dead-in-a-business-suit dude.

For more info on the series, be sure to keep an eye on the Tenacious Toys blog for more info.
