Don’t worry. I dictated that headline in a real manly voice to my secretary. Anyway, I could probably fit five of these little crocheted creatures into my nostril. Which makes them even cuter.
Your local barista might be able to put a bird on it, but Kazuki Yamamoto can put cats and bunnies on your latte. They’re too cute to eat or drink or whatever it is you do to consume foam.
tokidoki have just added plush versions of Bastardino and Prima Donna to their lineup of love-stuffed plush toys. I hope Donutino is the next character to get the full-sized plush treatment. Plastic would be fine too, though. Get ‘em here.
Robin Rhode Turns New York Gallery Into Massive Coloring Book
South African artist Robin Rhode is turning New York’s Lehmann Maupin Gallery into a massive coloring book for an exhibit titled “Paries Pictus.” Rhode apparently splattered many walls with different colors, drew on walls with various stencils and illustrations, and invited 37 first-grade students to come out and help draw what was left untouched with giant crayons. Cute photos from the gallery are pictured above.
Cat Has Its Dumb Little Mind Blown By Optical Illusion
Oh, animals. So adorable, especially when they’re being utterly confused by things that their inferior animal brains can’t comprehend. Watch this poor little dude not know what the eff is going on in the video below.
I feel like just when you think there’s no room for innovation when it comes to cat videos on the Internet, something like this always pops up.
There’s a Chinese tradition to give money in a small red envelope on New Year’s. tokidoki have created this printable envelope so you can give fun stuff to your friends in style. Click on the image for the full rez version, save it, and print it. Happy Year of the Snake!
Japan Sets World Record for Most Synchronized Dancing Mascots [VIDEO]
Last weekend, 141 costumed mascots in Japan attempted to break the world record for the largest group of synchronized costumed dancing. And they did it! The group, called yuru-kyara, danced to “The Beard Dance,” by joke rock band, The Drifters, in Sasebo. For the group to qualify for the record, all members had to complete the dance with 95% accuracy. The first two tries failed to meet expectations, but the third attempt saw the costumed group succeed, and yuru-kyara broke the previously standing (I have no idea who else attempted this beforehand) Guinness World Record!
Watch a video of the dancing below. Crazy cute Japan…
