Poker Night 2 Screenshots Leaked

Here are leaked screens of the sequel to Poker Night at the Inventory, Telltale Games’ Poker Night 2. The screens were leaked by an Xbox Live Marketplace asset site and posted on NeoGAF.

They reveal Ash from the Evil Dead film franchise, Sam from the infamous PC series Sam & Max, Claptrap from Borderlands, and Brock fucking Sampson from The Venture Brothers television series. GLaDOS from the Portal series also hovers over the poker table, but it’s not clear if GLaDOS is a playable character.

Telltale Games’ teaser site, The Key Party, also seems to confirm these characters.

The Virgin Radio Fake Film Festival is a competition, in which contestants are invited to recreate their favorite film in exactly 60 seconds. BRowsing the site, I’ve seen Dirty Harry, Life of Pi, Psycho, and many other brief remakes, but nothing really takes the cake like this Evil Dead remake right here.

As pointed out by Nerdcore and io9, the gory editing and detail really takes the cake. Gigi Saul Guerrero and Luke Bramley directed the short, with awesome makeup done by Carolyn Williams.

Holy Freaking Crap The Trailer For The ‘Evil Dead’ Remake Is Amazing [NSFW]

In case you worried about the Evil Dead remake (you know, the one where Ash is a chick instead of Bruce Campbell?) being a steaming pile of dingleberries, this redband trailer should ease your tension a bit. Good Lord the gore looks incredible! I was never a huge fan of the originals like most people in the nerd-o-sphere, so I’m welcoming this remake with open arms, although I’m sure purists will find more than their share of things to complain about in this trailer.

A Little Bit On The 2-in-1 Movie Poster Side: Series of posters by Patrícia Póvoa that highlights a single object or theme shared by two completely different movies. I’m still trying to figure out the Jaws x Death Proof one, but I’m thinking she might’ve meant Planet Terror.

A Little Bit On The Evil Dead Side: Lily Collins may no longer be heading up the Evil Dead remake, but another female protagonist is taking up the mantle made famous by Bruce Campbell. One of the available skins for Lollipop Chainsaw will allow Juliet Starling to dress up as the premiere chainsaw wielding zombie killer, Ashley Williams.

A Little Bit On The Evil Dead Side: So, the lead character Ashley J. Williams aka Ash in the Evil Dead remake will be played by Phil Collins’ hot daughter, Lily Collins. Weird, right? I always thought they should’ve cast the dude who played Xander in Buffy, but this chick’s hotter and her eyebrows are way more magical, so whatevs. (via Bloody Disgusting)
