DAILY GRAFFITI: WASTED YOUTH EDITION
This piece of street art was submitted to our Geek Graffiti Flickr Group by 2nez. It reminds me of the days when my mom would go to the mall to get her hair did and give me five bucks to spend at the arcade. Five bucks which immediately went into one of three games: The Simpsons, X-Men, or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Kids these days will never know how good it used to be.
GIFS FROM OUR LATEST WEEKLY COMIC PICKS VIDEO
We’ve received a few requests for a GIF of YaYa’s Rupee moment from last weeks video (check it!). Here it is along with sad Hawkeye being sad. You’re welcome, weirdos. <3
If you haven’t already, be sure to subscribe to our butts on YouTube for weekly comic reviews and some secret stuff coming soon. We’ll love you forever for it.
I DON”T OWN A BIKE, BUT I’D BUY ONE JUST FOR THIS PIKACHU BIKE TIRE RIM
Check out this Pokemon bike!!! No sure if that rim is custom or they sell them somewhere, but I kind of need it in my life.
Shibuya, Japan is home of Mint Shibuya, a sports bar/trading card game shop hybrid featuring elegant seating for Magic duels, a swanky bar, and they even serve food - not Slim Jims and Combos like most game shops, but REAL food!
The pictures above really don’t do the place justice. Check out the video below for a better look.
Man. My local game shop holds Friday Night Magic in a crusty old basement. In the summer time, it gets so hot that moisture from the pipes in the ceiling drip down onto our heads. Super annoying/kinda’ gross. Maybe I should move to Shibuya.

Here’s a ginormous street art mural of Thanos and Carnage wearing what looks like the robe Rocky wore to the ring. The full piece features the handywork of Merlyn, Kooltaste, Hose, Stom500, Uncle Ho, DarkElixir, Jack El Diablo, and Wise.
Check out a snazzily edited video of the creation of the piece below.

No, the above image is NOT a screen cap from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. It’s an action figure.
For his ongoing “Playing With History” series, Australian graphic artist Kode Logic takes iconic photos from history and pop culture and blends them with everything from X-Men to Mortal Kombat. Take a look.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits theaters April 4 and shoe & toy customizer extraordinaire Sekure D (check out our video interview with him here) went all out on a pair of Jordan 6’s and embellished them with all the iconic details of the O.G. Captain America suit. At first glance I though these were a legit licensing crossover which is a true testament to the artist’s skills and super clean lines.
Sidenote: Anyone catching the early premiere of Winter Soldier going on in select cities tomorrow?
