DAILY GRAFFITI: FAMILY GUY X STAR WARS EDITION
In honor of our real life Peter Griffin video going completely viral, here’s some graffiti inspired by the Family Guy Star Wars parody trilogy spotted in Brookly by Alan Slimak.
DAILY GRAFFITI: ELEKTRA EDITION
Here’s some HUUUUGE graffiti inspired by Joe Madureira's (favorite comic artist EVER!) run on Savage Wolverine where Logan and Elektra take on the Hand.
Fun fact: The Hand is a group of evil ninjas from the Marvel universe. They were parodied in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics as… DUN DUN DUNNNN… The Foot!
DAILY GRAFFITI: ‘SUPER MARIO BROS. 3’ EDITION
Cool SMB3 street art mural spotted by always_exploring.
I feel like I’m the only one who thought the cape from Super Mario World was way cooler than the Tanooki suit. I mean, sure, the Tanooki is clearly more stylish, but the cape was just functionally more awesome. That thing could keep you up in the air for freaking EVER! Basically, I’d much rather have Nintendo make every Mario game more like Super Mario World than the weird hybrid of SMB and SMB3 they’ve been doing for the past few years.
Check out this effing HUUUUGE Adventure Time mural spotted by David Morgan-Smith! Seriously, click that ish to embiggen so you don’t miss any of the tasty flavor. I love that the artist included Iceclops. Dude doesn’t get nearly enough love. #clisterproblems
DAILY GRAFFITI: NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH EDITION
Canada-based artist Andrew Lamb has plastered over 70 Neighborhood Watch signs with various superheroes. The results look way better than the original signs, but it’s funny because vandalism is illegal. Guess the neighborhood isn’t being watched as closely as those signs would have you believe.
Question: You’re part of your local Neighborhood Watch and you see some joker doing this to signs. Do you bust him or let him go an account of if being awesome?
Loving this clever pic by the one and only COMBO. Who remembers Ecco The Dolphin? Only version I ever played was the one for Game Gear and I never really liked it, but I’d play it for hours anyway.
Let us celebrate this crowning achievement in storytelling and animation by admiring a bunch of walls that some insanely talented jerks vandalized.
DAILY GRAFFITI: WASTED YOUTH EDITION
This piece of street art was submitted to our Geek Graffiti Flickr Group by 2nez. It reminds me of the days when my mom would go to the mall to get her hair did and give me five bucks to spend at the arcade. Five bucks which immediately went into one of three games: The Simpsons, X-Men, or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Kids these days will never know how good it used to be.
