It’s amazing how the right color scheme can make a design so much better. I never liked the look of Bowers & Wilkins’ P3 headphones until they recently released these blue versions. Now I’m resisting the urge to buy a pair.

If you’ve been waiting for those tokidoki-branded headphones from SOL REPUBLIC, today’s your day. Both versions are available for for $150 from tokidoki’s web store. The two versions only differ in their graphics. One has a traditional tokidoki design with the brand’s characters and logos all scattered around the headband. The other has a slightly more subtle bandana design. Grab a pair here.
Here’s the first image to pop up featuring the tokidoki-designed headphones from Sol Republic. I’m hoping for a Cactus Pups or Cactus Rocker version.

Minimalist and Retro Headphones from Denmark
Urbanears’ minimalist headphones look great, but they sound like ass. Check out these TMA-1 around-the-ear ‘phones from AIAIAI from Denmark. They supposedly sound much better than Urbanears’, but at the same time, they’re much more pricey - they go for a whopping $250. As classy as these are, I’d have to take a set of Shure SRH840s for that cost.
Also, check out their Tracks series of over-the-ear headphones that take a cue from the ones that came with the Sony Walkman back in the ’80s. These ones will set you back a modest $70.
Albotas X G-Shock.
Yeah right. If Albotas and G-Shock did do a collaboration, my head would probably explode and cover the entire internet in a sweet, chocolaty goo. This is actually the Skullcandy X G-Shock collaboration piece and it’s insanely sexy. It comes in a fancy hard case with a drawstring pouch and some blue Skullcandy earbuds inside. These are limited edition and can be yours for $169.95.
The Albotas colors have been electric blue and black for almost 4 years now. Kinda’ weird seeing them everywhere lately. Maybe I can try to score one to rock with my Albotas-themed attire.
