RED BULL CANS IN JUSTICE LEAGUE OUTFITS

The Red Bull Superhero Project is a design concept by New York-based Art Director Diego Fonseca.

It’s basic human knowledge that Red Bull tastes like complete caca mixed with vomit (if you don’t think so, you’re either a goddamn liar or your taste buds are playing an evil trick on you), but these packaging redesigns featuring the iconic costumes of DC superheroes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Green Lantern are sick enough that I could see people buying them just to display on their shelves. I’m sure people have displayed lamer things. I have a shelf full of Orbitz. Remember those? The little orbs are totally still floating and there’s even a mail-in rebate for a free movie ticket to see Independence Day starring Will Smith in theaters! No, you can’t have one.

Cast of Parks & Recreation as Justice League Members

Illustrator Vick Trola decided to merge all of the Justice League with the cast of Parks & Recreation for a pretty rad piece of pop. These prints are for sale at Trola’s Etsy shop here. Personally, I would’ve went with Batman for Ben, but it still works.

Justice League Dolla’ Dolla’ Bills, Y’all

Aslan Malik transformed some dead presidents into characters from the Justice League and the results are pretty sick.

Last month on Warren Ellis’s Whitechapel message boards, he gave artists the following challenge:"In 1975, while promoting the New York Dolls, Malcolm McLaren got some people from DC incapably drunk and walked off with a two-year license on one of their properties. Went back to London, changed the shop name from SEX to SEDITIONARIES, then said, “here, Viv, you reckon we could blag fifty grand off someone to make a fillum?”1977. London. You have been tasked with producing the poster for Malcolm McLaren’s JUSTICE LEAGUE film.”Growing up as a bit of a punk rocker as well as a geek, this clever spin by Annie Wu totally, like, speaks to me, man. Batman and Supes give off a heavy Misfits vibe, The Flash is very Johnny Rotten-ish, and Wonder Woman’s outfit is brilliant. Also gotta’ love Aquaman horkin’ his brains out in the back. Friggin’ lightweight.
