Baby Milo Valentines Day Package
Who needs a box of chocolates when you can have a box full of BAPE? This gift set comes with a dude’s or dudette’s shirt and a sack containing a keychain. It’ll be available on February 1.
In case you needed some cute in your day, here’s a photo of a little girl getting a kick out of the Totoro window display at the Studio Ghibli museum. This moment was caught on camera by vinyl toy designer, Martin Hsu.
Hey gang. Pre-sales are setup now for Hari Kari’s new Fallline, designed by one of the dopest artists you can find, Andrew “Angimoto” Douglas. I’m really excited to show these off and I can’t wait for these to finish printing and finally ship.
The kawaii ass Sailor Crewneck Sweater is going for $30, the Always Watching Anime shirt is going for $22, and The Burger Shirt is going for $20. The shirts are at a limited run of 25 pieces each, so get them while you can.
Pre-sales are setup now for part-one of Hari Kari’s new Fall drop, created by the ever-so-talented Andrew “Angimoto" Douglas. The first part of the drop is this kickass kawaii Sailor Crewneck Sweater, printed on a heather grey crewneck sweatshirt with a screenprint in turquoise coloring. It’s priced at $30 and will print in less than two weeks. Ensure your sweater today.
Part-two of the Angimoto drop will be revealed by this weekend, with pre-sales going up by mid-next week. Super stoked to show these off!
At least that’s what Google Translate is calling these things. Use the hair parts of the erasers to give them a new ‘doo. Rub them into your mistakes too much and they’ll totally disintegrate, which is a pretty accurate reflection of reality. You’re so deep, erasers.
Don’t worry. I dictated that headline in a real manly voice to my secretary. Anyway, I could probably fit five of these little crocheted creatures into my nostril. Which makes them even cuter.

I went on a Takochu binge about this time last year. Now I’m on a Butachu binge. These little acrylic piggies are lining my desktop. They’re from the same company that made Takochu so they look similar and are awesome side-by-side. Hopefully they keep coming out with new animals each year. What should be next? Kiwis? Capybaras?
After working for over 12 hours straight, this is exactly what I needed. Friends with You have a lot more going on, too. This month they unveiled a new mascot, Yaya, for the Young At Art Museum and they kicked off their first-ever Hong Kong exhibit. Plus their web store is down. Hopefully that means new merch is coming soon.

A Little Bit on the Umbrella Side: There aren’t many things you can do to make an umbrella fun. But that didn’t stop a Japanese company from creating umbrellas with monkey and flying squirrel silhouettes on them. The tails of the animals flap around in the wind as if the wee critters are handing on for dear life. Depending on where you live, you might be able to buy one here.
A Little Bit on the Kawaiju Side: These kaiju figures are so kawaii that I’m resisting the urge to buy them both. They’re made by Chima Group in Japan. Ademas, the Godzilla type dude, is $26 and Wool, the dinosaur guy, is $30 at myplasticheart. Some versions are sold out, but hopefully they’ll restock.
Maybe I’m late to the part on this one, but I just found out about these octopus figures called Takochu. They’re totally stackable and totally awesome. The only problem is they’re totally hard to find, too. I’ve been searching for a pack for two weeks but I’ve only been able to find the solid-colored versions on eBay (and those were going for a ridonculous $50). I will not rest until I find these transparent Takochu!
