A Little Bit on the Umbrella Side: There aren’t many things you can do to make an umbrella fun. But that didn’t stop a Japanese company from creating umbrellas with monkey and flying squirrel silhouettes on them. The tails of the animals flap around in the wind as if the wee critters are handing on for dear life. Depending on where you live, you might be able to buy one here.

A Little Bit on the Photorealistic Side: The above picture isn’t a photo; it’s a painting. Jason de Graaf uses acrylic on canvas to create these mind-boggling paintings. He often incorporates spheres and other round-shaped objects to display his ability to capture the refraction and reflection of light. Mind: blown.

A Little Bit On The Pikachewbacca Side: Kodie Koala made this awesome custom based on the famous mashup by cub1k on deviantART. You’ve probably seen the illustrated version floating around the nets or in t-shirt form on Shark Robot

From the artist:

I used a Jakks 2007 Electronic Pikachu and I covered him in Apoxy sculpt and made him look hairy. Their wasn’t a whole lot of material involved, just a lot of time to groove all of it. It probably took a good 10 hours to make the hair look perfect.

Anyone else down for an animated all-Pokemon Star Wars remake?

A Little Bit On The SK8 Upton Side: An entire Tumblr site dedicated to skateboard decks with Kate Upton on them. This is by Jeff Gaudinet, the same dude who brought us Skate Moss. While they’re just concepts and not decks you can actually ride on, the GIF ones below are pretty legit.
