The Legend of Cage: You’ve Met with a Terrible Face, Haven’t You?

From easily one of my favorite Youtubers Criken comes a modded version of Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask in which multiple textures in the game have been replaced with Nicolas Cage’s face. I’m not sure I’ve seen anything as terrifying as the traveling mask salesman with Cage’s face. Truly disturbing.

Criken continuously puts out hilarious videos. If you aren’t following him on Twitter and Youtube, you should be.

Who could not like a guy that puts out this type of great content? Apparently the mod will be released at some point.

Insane Racing Game Chair Set Up
Could you imagine playing a mech game with this?
The lengths that people go to, to make their gaming experience truly amazing, makes me jealous. I wish I had technical engineering skills of any kind.
Just imagine the Oculus Rift with Hawken on this thing.

Ikea Coffee Table Arcade
Instructables user hoogen tricked out his Ikea Ramvik coffee into a super sweet arcade machine using a 60-in-1 iCade Classic Multigame JAMMA board. If Don Draper had an arcade coffee table, this would be it.

A Little Bit On The Hybrid Side: The 3DS Circle Pad Pro gets a PlayStation controller mod thanks to one ingenuitive Japanese gamer. If only they could get it to support DualShock.

A Little Bit On The Atari iPhone Dock Side: Etsy seller BlkMtnAudio Frankenstein’d an old Atari 2600 into a speaker dock. Scoop this one-of-a-kind sex muffin here for $100.

A Little Bit On The NES-A-Sketch Side: Modder Alpinedelta32 used an Arduino to hack an old NES controller into controlling an Etch-A-Sketch. Brilliant.

You Got Pokeymangs In My Minecraft!

This is a pretty epic looking Pokemon mod for Minecraft by a dude calling himself SeaGoingManatee and his co-coder Pwootage. It’s called Pokemobs, and while there’s only a few Pokemon available so far, the plan is to eventually incorporate a battling system and all of the original 151 ‘Monz.

Looks like I’ll finally have to break down and download a copy of Minecraft.

Thanks for the tip, Jacob!

Custom painted Bowser Game Boy by hyaki on 8bc. This Pro Sound modded Game Boy is given that extra “boss battle” feel with the lava red backlight.
I’ve always wanted to do something like this to my Game Boy, but I’m way too scared I’ll fudge it up and be left Game Boyless.

Here’s a sweet little Game Boy Camera mod that turns the camera into a camcorder with 320 x 240 resolution, a 40 GB hard drive, 50 minutes of battery like, and it runs on a single 9-volt battery.

Is this the leetest desk ever? Probably. It has a computer built right in, clearly. With a 4.5GHz CPU and over ten TBs of storage space, the liquid cooled PC is a beast with a glow to match.

Sometimes do you feel like your Minecraft world might be a little more exciting if you dropped acid before you played? No? Well you should still check out this Acid Trip Shader Mod.

To acheive this effect I used the GLSL shaders mod:
http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=128043

And this custom shader:
http://pastebin.com/WbVNtMg7

copy it to a txt file then rename the txt to - base.vsh then making sure to backup your existing, base.vsh drag it into the shaders folder located inside your minecraft.jar (once the GLSL shaders mod is installed of course)

Holy crap. I want a USBTypewriter right freaking now! You just hook it up to your PC or even your iPad, then type away. And the best part: it works as a real typewriter so that you can make hard copies WHILE you’re typing up a digital copy! Shit, that’s awesome!

I need one of these so I can get all kinds of drunk and hopped up and Peyote like my idol Hunter S. Thompson and finally write my memoir: Fear and Loathing in the Blogosphere.

You can get plans to build one yourself or buy them already made from the USBTypewriter Etsy shop.

Big ups to Jon for the tip!

This Wii UNLimited water-cooled case mod by Angel OD looks like something straight out of the BioShock games. You can also mount it on your wall if you’re into that sort of thing.

Make You Arcade Stick A Flashlight
My favorite arcade buttons are Seimitsu’s skeleton series. They come in a ton of colors and they’re see-through which is obviously awesome. Now you can buy little circuit boards with LEDs on them to stuff between the button and the plunger. When the plunger is pressed down, the LEDs are activated. Pretty neat.
