Wind Waker Is Getting An HD Upgrade For WiiU

And it looks gorgeous! It almost has a claymation look to it. Better yet, Nintendo is finishing it up so we have a Zelda game to play while they work on an all new Zelda adventure just for WiiU!

Check out a bunch of other big announcements below in the latest Nintento Direct vdeo like Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, new Virtual Console stuff like Game Boy Advance games, and an untitled Yoshi game that I’m calling Yoshi’s Epic Yarn.

Nintendo Announces 3DS XL For $199.99 On August 19th.

Weird how the newest episode of Nintendo Direct brought way more exciting news than their E3 conference. The 3DS XL rocks a 90% larger screen, more battery life, and comes packed with a 4GB SD card. Still no second analogue stick or Animal Crossing 3DS news, though. What the eff Nintendo?

Nintendo Direct Pre E3 Video. The Future Of Gaming Starts Now!

The latest Nintendo Direct gives us a heaping serving of Wii U info. The GamePad has been redesigned since the prototypes shown off at last year’s E3 - instead of circle pads, there’s now full-on analog noysticks complete with clickiness. Nintendo’s also focusing a lot more attention on connecting players with each other online, but as you’d probably guess, they’re doing it in a very “Nintendo” sort of way.

What do you guys think? Are you excited for the Wii U?

A Little Bit On The Nintendo Direct Side: Here’s the latest Nintendo Direct video. Some highlights include the North American box art reveal for Xenoblade Chronicles, official announcement of The Last Story coming stateside, and a new game headed to the 3DS eShop called Dillon’s Rolling Western (check out the full trailer) which looks pretty awesome and promises around 20 hours of gameplay.
